Win Medica Pharmaceutical SA is currently seeking for a motivated Production Manager for our High Potent facility in Tripoli Greece.
The Production Manager will provide effective leadership and management of a dedicated High Potent Solid Dose manufacturing facility producing pharmaceutical products to the highest standards. Additionally, he/she will have responsibility for all manufacturing teams within Dispensary, Granulation/Blending, Tablet Compression, Tablet Coating, Primary and Secondary Packaging. The Production Manager will drive performance and ensure efficiency of processes to deliver customer orders on time. Adherence with all aspects of the site Quality Management System and the Environmental Health & Safety system are critical within the manufacturing environment. Reporting to the Plant Director, the Manufacturing Manager will ensure products are manufactured in accordance with approved SOPs, in a compliant manner and aligned with regulatory authority standards.
Responsibilities – Duties
· Drive a safety culture, understand and ensure the company's Health & Safety policies are always followed.
· Oversee Supervisors to ensure effective production and packaging operations of the manufacturing facility in a cGMP environment.
· Ensure delivery of necessary training and ongoing coaching, discipline and recognition of staff, including performing performance reviews.
· Ability to effectively motivate, coach and mentor staff providing support and guidance where necessary.
· Ensure department outputs (KPIs) are met and that established cGMP quality standards are always adhered to.
· Work closely with Supervisors and Operators to plan work schedules and to set targets.
· Work actively and promote teamwork with Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality and all support functions.
· Monitor and optimize the use of plant capacity to ensure delivery of agreed deadlines.
· Provide support where necessary in all quality investigations for deviations, complaints, out of specification investigations, corrective and preventative actions and change control.
· Ensure that all manufacturing equipment is operated, maintained and calibrated according to approved SOPs.
· Write, review and approve documentation pertinent to manufacturing operations.
· Ensure implementation and compliance of cGMP guidelines for all production and packaging related operations.
· Identify and implement efficiency and quality improvements whilst promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
· Provide effective communication at all levels within the business.
· Identify requirements and make recommendations for Capex investment to support sustainability and growth.
Requirements
· Bachelor's degree in life sciences, pharmacy, chemistry, chemical engineering, or a related field.
· At least 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing (production and packaging) specifically in manufacturing of SOLID ORAL DOSAGE FORMS such as tablet and capsule formulations with strong technical capability to resolve operational challenges.
· Significant Management experience within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
· Strong knowledge and understanding of GMP and Health & Safety.
· Excellent verbal/written communication in English and interpersonal skills.
· Experience of ERP systems and competent computer skills (Microsoft Office, Excel, Word etc.)
· Strong leadership skills and competence in people management.
· Good organizational and planning skills.
· Ability to excel in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.
· Thorough understanding of process, systems and equipment to troubleshoot problems and provide solutions to senior management.
